Groundnut oil smells good, tastes favorable. We provide all machines necessary for a complete Groundnut oil plant, including pre-treatment machines, press, solvent extractors, refinery machines, etc.
Groundnuts contain about 25% shell and 3% skin. Before extracting oils and fats from Groundnuts, the mill needs to prepare it by cleaning, crushing, softening, flaking and cooking. For cleaning, we offer magnetic separator, aspirator or different size cleaning sieves, as shown below, to remove impurities from Groundnuts.
Next, every groundnut is divided into 6 or 8 pieces by crushers, as shown below.
Then, the temperature and moisture of groundnut pieces will be adjusted by conditioner or softening kettle so that they become soft and wet enough for flaking. This step improves their ductility. It is special for groundnut oil seeds. Below is photo of softening kettle.
The flaking roll will make the wet soft Groundnut pieces into flakes. We have vertical flaking roll, multi-stage flaking roll, hydraulic flaking roll and spring flaking roll etc., as shown below.
Finally, the flakes will be cooked to make tiny oils and fats groups get together to become bigger, and to make them less adhesive, easier to get out of flakes.
II. Solvent extraction
Oils and fats in Groundnut flakes can dissolve in certain solvent. Therefore, we can immerse pressed fakes in solvent to extract oils and fats. Then remove solvent from wet meal, strip solvent from miscella, and recycle solvent.
Weâve percolation extractor, immersion extractor and rotocel extractor, etc., as shown below. The solvent pumps in extractor will continuously spray solvent and soak the groundnut cakes in it, so that oils and fats can be dissolved. After that, you get wet meal and miscella (mixed oil and solvent).
Wet meal treatment
Desolventizer toaster with integrated LD-cooler(DTDC) is a system for separating solvent from the wet meal. We've vertical desolventizer toaster, horizontal desolventizer, flash desolventizing system and low temperature desolventizer, etc., as shown below.
After extraction, filter the miscella, send it to two evaporators successively, and then to the stripping tower. Weâve raising film evaporator, vapor separator, negative evaporator, normal evaporator, etc. For stripping, weâve tubular stripping column, disk stripping column, plate stripping tower, filling steam stripping tower, etc. After evaporation and stripping, you get crude groundnut oil and desolventized meal. This meal can be used to produce feeds. The crude oil needs to be refined.
The solvent vapour from wet meal and miscella will be collected by condensers to be reused. Weâve pipe bundle condenser, spraying condenser, contact condenser, etc., as shown below.
III. Crude oil refining
Crude Groundnut oil has a lot of impurities, such as phosphatide, free fatty acid, pigment, wax, sterol, sands, etc. We have to get rid of these impurities to get edible oil.
There are many ways to move the mucilaginous impurities from crude oils and fats, for example, hydration, heating, adding acids, etc. Weâve hydration tank, acid refining mixer, etc., as shown below.
This step is to remove pigment from crude oil to adjust its color. You can adjust according to the requirement of your market. Weâve acid refining tank.
This step is to move unpleasant smell from crude oil. This is an important station for refined oil. Weâve deodorizing tank.
